The ULM Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa strives to promote an awareness of the importance and the success of our public education systems within our area. We support the passionate efforts of our educators, students, parents, and communities that work to make our schools better places to learn. Our Goals for the 2004-2005 year are to:
- Increase Membership.
- Sponsor more campus and community events to promote educational awareness.
- Recognize outstanding student, faculty, and community members.
- Provide scholarships for high school seniors and pre-service teachers.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a member of PDK please contact Julia Tidwell-Ellington, our membership VP, at 342-1273 or ellington@ulm.edu.
