Alberta Brown Green, a Monroe native is the Director of Information Technology Initiatives for North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP).
Green heads up business recruitment and retention efforts focused on expanding North Louisiana’s technology sector.
Alberta also is the owner of ABG Counseling and Career Consulting where she provides
Career Counseling, Mental Health Counseling and Life Coaching.
Previously, Alberta worked at CenturyLink, a Fortune 200 company, where she served
as a Sourcing Recruiter, a Lead Organizational Effectiveness Consultant and a Leadership
Development Consultant.
Prior to joining CenturyLink, Green worked at the University of Louisiana Monroe for
more than four years in various roles, including the Director of ULM’s Career Connections
department.
Green earned both her degrees from the University of Louisiana Monroe and is a Licensed
Mental Health Counselor.
She is very involved in the community, serving on numerous boards including the ULM Foundation Board, Christopher House Board, the Monroe Symphony Orchestra Board and the Board of Directors of University Health Conway.
She recently was honored as the ULM 2015 Rising Young ULM Alumni and was featured as one of the “Top 20 under 40” recipients for northeast Louisiana.
Alberta has been married to her love, Toby Green, for 15 years and has two precious boys – Toby Jr, 13 and Jacob 9.
Alberta is a supporter of Military men and women, a lover of innovative technology and gadgets, music, theatre, and the arts.
