Sailing Forward: Making a Difference Through Leadership

The 2005 PDK Leadership Conference will be held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Irving, Texas on April 23-25, 2005. Focus issues include: making a difference through leadership, student success in content areas, partnerships and collaborative efforts, and advocacy for public schools.

3 rd Annual International Conference: Plan now to attend the PDK 2005 Conference in New Orleans from Nov. 10 to 13: Doing What Matters: Education, Democracy, and the Future. For the first time, conference participants can earn graduate credit by participating in a one-day pre-conference workshop held Nov. 10. In addition, breakout and awareness sessions will expand the educational conversation about Doing What Mattersby focusing on three themes: Practices That Improve Teaching and Learning, Classrooms of Tomorrow, and Keeping the Public in Public Education.
