The Kitty DeGree School of Nursing provides an opportunity for licensed practical nurses to be admitted into the baccalaureate degree program. Graduates in nursing from state approved licensed practical nurse programs who are currently licensed in Louisiana may be admitted for full-time or part-time study. For further information contact:

LPN to Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Articulation Agreement 2005

A minimum of 9 semester credit hours of nursing credit will be awarded to LPNs after completion of general education, pre-requisite, and transitional course requirements.

Once admitted to the professional component, program completion typically requires two years of full-time, continuous study.
