Canvas is a web-based learning management system (LMS).
Canvas can be accessed through the myULM portal.
The Canvas Student and Teacher app is available for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. For more information about downloading the app visit the Canvas Community for Android and iOS devices.
Respondus LockDown Browser is required by some instructors for exams and quizzes.
What if my courses are not showing?
If the term has not started, your instructor may not have the class available to students yet. However, if classes have started and you are still unable to see your course(s), check Banner to ensure you are registered for the class. If you are not registered, contact the Registrar’s Office. If you are registered for the class, contact the Canvas Helpdesk
What if the courses that I am scheduled to teach are not appearing on my course dashboard?
From within Canvas, select Courses>All courses>Star any course that you would like to appear on your dashboard.
