Attention Warhawks,
Be on the look out for scammers sending out emails impersonating the IRS.
The Internal Revenue Service has sent out a warning that scammers are targeting educational institutions, students, and staff with a (.edu) email address on the status of their tax refund. We are asking our faculty, staff, and students to be on the look for these types of emails. If you receive this type of email, remember to never click on a link provided in an email. Use your web browser to go directly to the site instead. As always, report any suspicious emails delivered to your inbox to spam@ulm.edu.
Here is a link to the IRS website with more information.
