University closes for Thanksgiving Holidays

MONROE, La. – The University of Louisiana Monroe will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday, beginning at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23. The University will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28.

ULM residence halls will remain open, and a resident assistant (RA) will be available for each building.

The ULM Library will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and it will reopen Sunday, Nov. 27, from 12 p.m. until 2 a.m.

The ULM Activity Center will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and it will reopen Monday, Nov. 28, at 6 a.m. 

The ULM Schulze Dinning Hall will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and it will reopen Sunday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m.

Starbucks, POD markets, and food services located in the ULM Student Union Building (SUB) will close at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and will reopen as following: Sunday, Nov. 27: Starbucks opens at 8 a.m., Grille Works and POD Markets open at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28: Chick-Fil-A and Einstein Bros & Bagels open at 7 a.m., Loco Rico and Subway open at 10:30 a.m.

All other services will be closed until 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28.

Project 17 will provide those in the ULM family with a free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, Nov. 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, at the ULM Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM), located at 911 University Ave.
