University of Louisiana Monroe introduces new online degree programs

The University of Louisiana Monroe is excited to announce the expansion of its online degree programs to include two accelerated nursing programs and nine accelerated graduate education programs designed for busy, working adults.

Online Nursing Programs 


The 30-hour RN to BSN online program is designed to be completed in as few as 14 months and has affordable tuition of $8,750.


The 38-hour Master of Science in Nursing Clinical Nurse Leader online program is designed to be completed in as few as 20 months and has affordable tuition of $13,900. The Master of Science in Nursing Clinical Nurse Leader program is the only one currently offered in the state of Louisiana.

Both nursing programs are CCNE accredited. 

Online Education Programs


The 36-hour Master of Education online programs are designed to be completed in as few as 15 months, have affordable tuition of $10,800, and no GRE is required for admission. These programs include:

  • M.Ed. in Educational Leadership 
  • M.Ed. in Educational Technology Leadership
  • M.Ed., Curriculum & Instruction – Reading
  • M.Ed., Curriculum & Instruction – English as a Second Language (ESL)
  • M.Ed., Curriculum & Instruction – Special Education in Early Intervention
  • M.Ed., Curriculum & Instruction – Special Education in Educational Diagnostics
  • M.Ed., Curriculum & Instruction – Special Education in Gifted Education
  • M.Ed., Curriculum & Instruction – Special Education in Mild/Moderate Grades 1-12


In addition, ULM is introducing a 60-hour Doctor of Education, Curriculum & Instruction online program. It is designed to be completed in as few as 24 months and has a competitive tuition of $30,000.


No teaching certificate is required for the Ed.D., the M.Ed. in Educational Technology Leadership, or the M.Ed., Curriculum & Instruction—ESL. All education programs are NCATE accredited.
