The first-place win earned team Gibson and Johnson $200 to donate to the ULM student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Additional donations were earned by second place winners Trinity Foucha and Linh Luong, and third-place team Trey Jones and Oreolua Ibrahim.

The campaign design work occurred between 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 and 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, followed by the judging at 4:30 p.m. Contestants were assisted by business instructor Tom DeNardin, and Ashley McTurner and Megan Williams of Newcomer, Morris, and Young advertising and audio-visual agency.

The students were inspired by a visit from motivational speaker Bill Baldridge of www.YAWI.org

The contest was judged by three judges from the NDHSA and by Virendra (VC) Chhikara of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center.
