 Additional support offered to students

  • Housing and meal plan reimbursement: Students will be able to check out of university housing now through Sunday, March 29th. They will receive a 25 percent refund of housing and up to  25% for meals from this Spring semester’s cost if they check out properly and turn in their keys during this period of time.
  • Students that are currently on the first/full term payment plan will have their final payment date extended to May 5, so they have an additional month to complete transactions.

Communication guidelines

  • When searching for information, we ask that all students, faculty, staff, and others in our community refer only to official University communications (ulm.edu/coronavirus, the official University social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), not departmental social media platforms.
  • We ask that campus-affiliated social media accounts share content from our University accounts in order to spread correct and consistent information about our University’s response.
  • The Office of Academic Affairs has been and will continue to be in touch with deans as we discuss our response to this changing situation.
  • All media inquiries should be forwarded to Kelsey Bohl (bohl@ulm.edu) and Hope Young (hyoung@ulm.edu).
  • If you receive specific questions regarding novel coronavirus and the steps the University is taking, forward those questions to omc@ulm.edu.  University Communications will route the question to the right agency/person, and we will respond as quickly as we can. Do note that in these types of situations, it may take some time to respond.

Thanks again for your efforts.  I am very proud of the manner our campus community has responded to this unprecedented event.
