Universities of Louisiana Black Male Summit

WHAT – The second annual Universities of Louisiana Black Male Summit is bringing together the UL System’s nine member institutions and community partners to discuss solutions for addressing systemic barriers and new opportunities for black male faculty, staff, and students.

After two visionary keynote speakers and several breakout sessions, the Summit culminates with Thursday's lunch where we will introduce the second cohort of Reginald F. Lewis Scholars Program with a pinning ceremony.


Wednesday, June 15

NOTE – Media are welcome to any portion of the two-day event. Thursday’s awards luncheon and scholar pinning will provide the best opportunity for photos and video. UL System President and CEO Jim Henderson will be available for interviews.
