MONROE, LA – The ULM Speech-Language Pathology Program will host an in-person and virtual Open House on Friday, November 11 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in Sugar Hall 101 or through Zoom. All prospective Speech-Language Pathology Graduate Students are invited to attend.
Students will learn about the application process, the academic and clinical components of the SLP program, and receive financial aid and housing information. They will also have the opportunity to meet the faculty, tour the Kitty DeGree Speech and Hearing Center, and speak with graduate students.
The M.S. Program in Speech-Language Pathology at ULM builds on the foundation acquired in a student’s bachelor’s program. The program welcomes international students (two currently from Nepal) as well as domestic students currently from throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, and Arkansas. In addition to providing diagnostic and intervention services in the Kitty DeGree Speech and Hearing Center and throughout the community, students play an integral role when the program hosts the Annual Spring Conference that is attended by alumni and other practicing Speech-Language Pathologists.
