I am truly honored to serve as Interim Dean for the ULM College of Pharmacy. ULM/NLU been an integral part of my life for nearly 40 years. I still remember my first visit to PREP as a 17-year-old and how I fell in love with the bayou and the beauty of this campus. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing ULM as a student, alumna, faculty member, administrator, and, most recently, as the parent of a graduate. My roots here run deep, and I want nothing more than to see ULM and our College thrive. My leadership style is grounded in curiosity and listening and, in keeping this in mind, I look forward to hearing feedback from you, our alumni, on ways we can work together to ensure continued growth and success for our alma mater.
August has been an exciting month, and we recently welcomed our new P1 class to campus. Their arrival brings fresh energy to our halls and reminds us of the strong foundation laid by our alumni and the legacy that they will forever be a part of.
It’s important to me that I represent each of you with integrity, respect, and a shared sense of purpose. Together, we’ll work to ensure the College of Pharmacy remains a source of strength for ULM and a leader in our state. I’m also excited to work alongside President Castille and Provost McEacharn. Their energy, vision, and enthusiasm these past two months have been inspiring, and I look forward to what the future holds. I know change can feel unsettling, but I believe this is a moment of great opportunity for ULM and our College.
Thank you again for your support and for the privilege of serving this extraordinary community.
