The history department offers specializations in United States, military, and European history.
Do I have to write a thesis?
No. The thesis option is not required, and is unavailable for students in the online program.
What happens if I apply after the deadline?
Applications received after the deadline has passed may be reviewed depending on the number of applicants accepted. We encourage you to apply before the published deadline so your application may be given full consideration.
Are there graduate assistantships available?
A limited number of graduate assistantships are available. Contact us if you are interested in applying! Graduate assistantships are not available for students in the online program.
When will decisions be made regarding program admission?
Applications will be considered as they are received and will continue until the program is full. Once a complete application has been made (including all transcripts and test scores), applicants will usually be notified of a decision within four weeks. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
