The University of Louisiana Monroe Public Defender Training Academy (ULM-PDTA) has been conducting statewide in-person and online workshops for public defenders for the past four years. DescriptionThe Computer Science program in the College of Business and Social Sciences at the University of Louisiana Monroe has received funding from the Cybersecurity Education Management Council of the Louisiana Board of Regents. The grant award of $129,532 will be used for a project titled "AI-Powered Cybersecurity Education to Address the Industry Skills Gap." The project is led by Dr. Prasanthi Sreekumari, Associate Professor and Accreditation Coordinator for the Computer Science program.
The Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) and the Contractors' Educational Trust Fund (CEFT) presented a $262,000 donation to the ULM Foundation for the ULM School of Construction Management at a ceremony held September 11, 2025.
Pogue Construction recently made a $6,000 contribution to the ULM Office of Career & Student Development to support career development initiatives. The donation will help assist with the Construction Management Fall 2025 Career Fair happening on September 25 at ULM.
