4th Annual Entrepreneurship Pelican Cup Awards Luncheon held at ULM's Bayou Pointe with $96,000 in prizes awarded

The Entrepreneurship Pelican Cup hosted its fourth annual awards luncheon on April 10, 2025, at ULM's Bayou Pointe Event Center. The luncheon was the culmination of the entrepreneurship competition, with $96,000 in prize money awarded to the three top teams, including their faculty advisors, and the winner of the live elevator pitch competition, voted on by attendees of the luncheon.

ULM School of Construction Management honors alumni at awards luncheon

The University of Louisiana Monroe School of Construction Management (SOCM) held its spring awards luncheon on March 21, 2025. The event was organized by the SOCM Industry Advisory Council (IAC). Alumni awards were given to deserving candidates in four categories, including Distinguished Alumnus of the Year, Minority Alumnus of the Year, Female Alumna of the Year, and Under-40 Alumnus of the Year. Additionally, there were two recipients of the Constructor of the Year award.

2025 Entrepreneurship Pelican Cup finalists announced; Awards Luncheon to be held Thursday, April 10

The Entrepreneurship Pelican Cup competition has announced the finalist teams for the 2025 competition. Six finalist teams have been selected to compete in the oral finals, and the winners will be announced at the 4th Annual Awards Luncheon on Thursday, April 10, at 11:30 a.m. at Bayou Pointe Event Center on the ULM campus. Tickets are on sale now for $100 for the public and $50 for students. Visit www.ulm.edu/pelicancup for ticket and sponsorship information.

ULM Mock Trial team earns bid to national tournament

The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) Mock Trial team has secured an open bid to the Opening Round Championship Series (ORCS) in Memphis, Tenn., after a remarkable 5-2-1 showing at the New Orleans Regional competition. The team will compete at Rhodes College from March 7-9, facing some of the nation's top programs.
