This page has been developed to provide training in Counseling Supervision and inform you about expectations and requirements for ULM Supervisory Internship Experiences.
All students enrolled in Practicum or Internship must be supervised by an appropriately credentialed site supervisor. CACREP accreditation requirements state that site supervisors for counseling interns must meet the following qualifications:

Below we provide resources for site supervisors. First, all potential site supervisors must review a 50-minute pre-recorded PowerPoint lecture on the foundations of supervision. We also include a link to the ACA Code of Ethics for supervision for review.
Second, the Site Supervisor Orientation Manual is provided below for all site supervisors to read. Please review this manual before beginning supervision. You will be prompted to sign-off on your understanding of the contents of this manual in your initial supervision paperwork prior to beginning in supervision.
Thank you for your willingness to participate in this supervisory role with our students. If you have any questions, please contact me at the email address below.
