The College is comprised of two schools, the School of Allied Health and the Kitty DeGree School of Nursing, that offer degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Radiologic Technology students and faculty represent ULM at LSRT annual conference

Students from The University of Louisiana Monroe Radiologic Technology Program attended and competed in state competitions with several other schools at the Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologists (LSRT) Annual Conference this summer. The entire senior class, consisting of 30 students, attended the conference, where they were joined by three members of the ULM Radiologic Technology faculty.

ULM receives critical state funding for the renovation of Sugar Hall

The University of Louisiana Monroe is one step closer to the complete renovation of Sugar Hall, which houses several health science programs, thanks to the support of the Louisiana State Legislature. Going into the 2025 regular legislative session, ULM requested $14 million, in addition to the $16.7 million received last year, in capital outlay funding to finish the renovation of Sugar Hall. However, the total project cost was reduced to $25.7 million leaving only $9 million needed, which the legislature approved. The anticipated completion of the renovation is scheduled for summer 2026.

ULM Medical Laboratory Science students and faculty shine at bi-state meeting

The University of Louisiana Monroe Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) faculty and students visited Lafayette, La. for the annual American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) of Louisiana and Mississippi 2025 Bi-State Annual Meeting from March 16-19. Twenty-four MLS students represented ULM at the conference.
