Countdown to Giving Tuesday

The University of Louisiana Monroe would like to thank faculty, staff, students, and
community supporters for their help in exceeding the Giving Tuesday goal of $100,000.
Due to the generosity of 159 donors, the 2022 Giving Tuesday campaign brought in an
estimated total of $147,433.93!
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of radical generosity
to transform communities and the world. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple
idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past ten years, this idea
has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give,
collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
GivingTuesday at ULM is an opportunity for people in the Warhawk Community to come
together to play a role in our students' success! People can show their generosity
in a variety of ways during GivingTuesday—whether it’s supporting the Centennial
Scholarship Program, ULM employees, or athletics—everyone has something to give and
every act of generosity counts.
Your gift will help provide private financial support for athletic scholarships, facilities,
student-athlete programs, team operations, and other program needs for ULM Warhawk
Athletics.
ULM & United Way of NE Louisiana “Take Flight Through Reading” project debuted with
the original ULM book, “There’s a Bridge on the Bayou” to 3rd graders in Ouachita
Parish. Each book contains a $500 ULM scholarship for the class of 2031, the 100th
anniversary of the institution. The Centennial Scholarship Program will steward these
3rd graders until they reach college age, giving hope to children who may have never
known a college degree was an option for their futures.
Your gift will enhance faculty and staff well-being by investing in support services
to improve effectiveness and improve recruitment of well-qualified, diverse candidates
and improve long-term retention of faculty and staff.

Centennial Scholars
Double your gift, which will be matched by an anonymous donor up to $1000 to develop
Ouachita Parish fourth graders into ULM Warhawks.
Faculty-Staff Excellence
Your contribution will help unlock $1,000 in matching funds to the Faculty-Staff Excellence
Fund from an anonymous donor to support faculty and staff in their endeavors to Change
Lives at ULM.
Sound of Today
Thanks to a generous matching gift of $1000 by Alberta Green and ABG Professional
Development Solutions, your donation to the Sound of Today will make a larger impact
when you simply add "My Passion" to your donation cart and then mark "Sound of Today"
in the designation line.
Support your ULM Alumni to recruit & educate students that the “Best is on the Bayou”
Your donation to Greek Life will help provide risk management training, event programing,
housing, travel expenses, and other needs for ULM Greek Life fraternities and sororities!
Give to KEDM and Give the Joy of Learning! Your gift supports local programming and
puts a book in the hands of a 2nd or 3rd-grade student in northeast Louisiana in partnership
with the United Way of Northeast Louisiana and the READ.LEARN.SUCCEED. program.
