The Louisiana Opera presents a Mardi Gras Celebration featuring excerpts from "The
Merry Widow," in English, directed by Mark Ross Clark of the University of Louisiana
Monroe School of Visual and Performing Arts.
The performance is Friday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ouachita Grand Plaza Ballroom,
501 S. Grand St.
The opera stars guests Betsy Uschkrat, Corey McKern, Ron Ulen and Tyler Smith, and
from VAPA, Claire Vangelisti, Julian Jones, Richard Seiler on piano, Jeffrey Peterson
conducting the ULM Opera Chorus, and Hunt Neely.
Tickets are $40 per person and includes a Mardi Gras Party with food, drinks, dancing
