Let's start with an example for uploading a file ca;; "about-me.pptx" to an educational institution student personal website account. In this example, we'll describe a student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe who wants to get a single file on the Internet. By following a series of steps, you can see how to upload a file on the Internet using a free educational institution website account just using free software. This is a useful skill to learn and apply.
You'll need to know a few things about your network account in order to log in. And, you'll need some free software to copy files between your computer and network account. In the next minutes, you'll see the universal and consistent process for "uploading" a file from a computer to the Internet by using a website account.
In this example, we'll "upload" one file called about-me.pptx and show how to get it on the Internet and then access that online fle by using an Internet address.
