Winnie Tomeny is an accomplished graphic designer, educator, and consultant on Chinese culture. Her deep passion for art is evident in the quality and creativity of her work. As a graphic design professor at the University of Louisiana Monroe, she mentors and inspires emerging artists, sharing her expertise and enthusiasm for the field. Winnie's artistic talents span Chinese calligraphy, painting, and graphic design—disciplines in which she has earned numerous awards. Her accolades include the Young Artist Award, the Chinese Calligraphy Excellence Award, and a Gold Corporate Sponsorship at the National SkillsUSA Competition. Her brand design for the University of Louisiana Monroe’s Hawkeye Newspaper also received first-place honors. Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Winnie came to the United States to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia, where she met her husband, Craig. They are now proud parents of three grown children.
