Mission Statement

The College of Arts, Education, and Sciences cultivates and supports a scholarly environment that enhances critical thinking skills, creativity, and the ability of students, faculty, and staff to contribute meaningfully to the greater community regionally, nationally, and globally. 

As the academic heart of the University, the College has the primary mission to ensure student-centered learning through participation in a diverse range of artistic, educational, cultural, and scientific activities.
