The University of Louisiana Monroe College of Pharmacy has been awarded a grant in the amount of $10,436 from the Living Well Foundation to support the Rural Health Stroke Education Project. The grant was recognized at a ceremony at the College of Pharmacy on September 17, 2025. The initiative focuses on education and technology to help frontline providers deliver lifesaving treatment faster and more safely.
The University of Louisiana Monroe's College of Pharmacy (COP) received $2 million in supplemental funding from the state legislature during the 2025 regular legislative session. A supplemental appropriations bill (HB 460) included the funding, which was signed into law by Governor Jeff Landry on June 23, 2025. The supplemental funding will go toward the operations of the COP.
