From hands-on activities and simulations to real-life insights from healthcare pros, this summer is your chance to scrub in, suit up, and explore what it’s really like to work in healthcare. No textbooks—just real-world experiences, new friends, and a whole lot of inspiration.

ULM School of Allied Health

Learn about allied health careers at this three-day event. You'll get a taste of the premier programs ULM offers, including Dental Hygiene, Health Studies, Kinesiology, Medical Laboratory Science, Occupational Therapy, Radiologic Technology, Speech Pathology, and Physical Therapy.

KITTY DeGREE SCHOOL OF NURSING

High School Pre-Nursing Boot Camp

All high school students are invited to attend the University of Louisiana Monroe's Nursing Boot Camp! At Nursing Boot Camp, you will spend four days immersing yourself in various nursing fields, including disaster nursing, surgical nursing, and more. You will learn important skills, including how to take blood pressure, and you’ll even have the opportunity to learn bystander CPR and the Heimlich maneuver.

Ages: High school students aged 15 and up

Location: Kitty DeGree Hall

Cost: $TBA per camper (day); additional cost of $TBA per overnight camper if staying in a residence hall.

Join the ULM College of Pharmacy and learn if pharmacy is right for you!

Spend a day with the ULM College of Pharmacy. Experience pharmacy student life and learn about the profession of pharmacy. Work in our lab, discover exciting and diverse job opportunities for pharmacists, learn how to prepare for pharmacy school, and get some tips on acceptance and success.

Guests are welcome to attend, with special parent information sessions on financial aid and other program specifics.
